The Trenton Acadians lost to Hampden, Monday, June 24th in American Legion Baseball action by the score of 6-4.

The Acadians' bats finally came alive with 7 hits  and scored 4 runs after being shut out in the previous two games. The Acadians were led by Ben Walls who pitched 6 innings and had a double.  Other hits came from Steven Mahon, Ben Eley, Hank Vinall (2 singles and a RBI), Cody DelConte, and Mitchell Domagala (2 singles and a RBI).

The Acadians scored 4 runs in the first two innings but it wasn't enough to hold off the Riverdogs who came back in the later part of the game with 6 hits and 6 runs.

Tristan Gardner worked three innings of hitless relief and had a double, single and RBI for Hampden, who improved to a perfect 6-0 on the season. The Acadians fell to 2-4 with the loss.

The Acadians host Nothern Lumber Wednesday at 4:30, then play host to Calais Friday June 28th at 5:30 and finish the week on Sunday June 30 playing at Brewer at 1 PM.
