ABA Girls 57 Camden 41 [BOXSCORE]

In the opening championship game of the Great Harbor Shoot-Out, the ABA A Girl's team defeated Camden 57-41. The ABA A team was comprised of 7 8th graders, with the lone 7th grader being Rachelle Swanson.

Camden came out and took a 14-5 lead at the end of the 1st Quarter.  Kaylin Krul had 6 points for Camden, while Kristina Kelly, Aubrey Schaeffer, Kassie Krul and Avery Bowman each having 2 points. For the ABA team, Maddy Good had 3 points, while Lily Turner had 2 points.

ABA took a 24-22 lead at the end of the 1st Half. Good had 9 points, Maddy Candage had 4 points and Julia Link, Julia Watras and Lily Turner each had 2 points for the ABA squad. For Camden, Kaylin Krul had 3 points, Kassie Krul went 3-4 from the free throw line and Isabelle Lang had 2 points.

In the 3rd Quarter the ABA team poured in 19 points, to take a 43-33 lead. Watras had 6 points, Candage 5 points including a 3 pointer, Turner 5 points, Hannah Chamberlain 2 points and Link 1 point. For Camden, Kassie Krul had 9 points and Lang 2 points.

In the final quarter, ABA outscored Camden 14-8. For ABA, Watras and Good each had 4 points, Turner, Chamberlain and Rachelle Swanson each had 2 points. For Camden, Kassie Krul had 6 points, and Miranda Dunton had 2 points.

ABA was led by Maddy Good with 16 points and Julia Watras had 12 points. Camden was led by Kassie Krul who had a game high 20 points and Kaylin Krul had 9 points.
