41st Ellsworth Christmas Parade December 4 – Mark the Date
You better watch out, you better not pout, you better not cry I'm telling you why... Santa Claus is coming to Ellsworth on December 4th! It's been a long time since we've been able to have a full-blown Christmas Parade, and hopefully everything will work to make the 2021 Ellsworth Christmas Parade one to remember!
This year's theme is "A Downeast Maine Christmas" and the parade will step off at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 4th!
The parade route will begin at the Top of Main Street, travel down Main Street to the lower light, head up State Street and end at Knowlton Park.
Veteran, parade organizer Thelma Beal has accepted the invitation and is honored to be this year's grand marshal for the parade. Thelma has organized the parade for decades and has decided to pass the torch on. Kimberly Fitch, aka the "Queen of Christmas" has been named the new parade organizer.
Fitch encourages all community/civic groups, churches, businesses, schools and any entertainment to register to be part of the parade and join the festivities of A Downeast Maine Christmas!
