As a 16-year-old kid Kolton Wong was helping his Hawaii team win the Senior League World Series in Bangor. Last night Wong was helping his St.Louis Cardinals to a 5-2 win over the Red Sox by smacking two home runs.

Sox started Brandon Workman gave up three runs in the first inning - not a good thing when you are facing Adam Wainwright, who went seven innings to pick up his 14th win.

On offense, no Sox player had more than one hit.

The roadtrip for the Sox continues tonight in Anaheim when they open a series against the Angels.

At 50-64 the Red Sox are now 14 games under .500.
