Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Bangor

The Bangor area could see up to 11 inches of snow Wednesday, prompting the National Weather Service to issue a Winter Weather Advisory for the area.

The advisory will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday. The forecast is calling for 5 to 11 inches of snow during that time.

Southern Maine and New England will see higher accumulations, with Portland expecting more than a foot of snow.
