Winter Storm Watch Wed-Thursday

Don't shoot the messenger! This only feels like deja vu, but there's a Winter Storm Watch in effect for Interior and Coastal Hancock and Washington Counties in as well as Southern Penobscot County including Bangor, Ellsworth, Bar Harbor, Machias , Cherryfield and Eastport for Wednesday afternoon, February 15th through Thursday afternoon February 16th.

The latest prediction is for the snow to start falling around noon on Wednesday, and that we will be receiving 8 to 12 inches. This new snow won't be fluffy, and is supposed to be heavy and wet.

Be sure to try and get your sidewalks and driveways cleaned up before Wednesday! Clean the area around your dryer vent and if there's a fire hydrant near you, try and dig it out too!
