Windjammer Parade Today

As part of the Acadia Centennial celebration there will be a Parade of Sail this afternoon, August 2nd from 2 PM to 4 PM. The Maine Windjammer Association's fleet will sail in company through Somes Sound

Accompanying the windjammers will be The Corinthians fleet of power and sailing yachts, flying the Corinthians courtesy flag and the Acadia Centennial burgee

The best viewing site will be on Sargent Drive in Mount Desert. To accommodate the expected crowds, traffic on Sargent Drive will be one way this afternoon.
