Jeff Clark, the President of the Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce announced on Monday, March 28th that Gretchen Wilson has been selected as the new Executive Director for the Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce and will officially take over beginning on April 4th.

Wilson, a native of Northeast Harbor, has been the Acting Executive Director. According to Clark, "I am very pleased that the Chamber's Search Committee saw in Gretchen, from the application and interview process, what I have continually witnessed firsthand. Our Chamber's 650 plus members will benefit greatly from Gretchen Wilson's leadership skills and experience."

Wilson has been a private business owner of The Sedgwick Store, Emergency Services Director of the American Red Cross Pine Tree Chapter and Community Manager of Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce.

She currently is a member of the Board of The Grand in Ellsworth, American Red Cross Pine Tree Chapter and Healthy Acadia Advisory Board.
