Here’s Why There Won’t Be An Ellsworth Homecoming Parade

In 2014, Ellsworth High School held a last minute Homecoming Parade. I was there, and it was great. It didn't go far, it started off just past the old Larry's Pastry building and went to City Hall. It wasn't well publicized, but those that were there, really enjoyed themselves. This coming weekend, Friday - Saturday, October 9th and 10th is Homecoming.

The Ellsworth Football team will play host to Houlton on Friday night, October 9th at 7 PM, and there are already plans for tailgating at Ellsworth High School with grills prior to the game. Unfortunately there won't be a Homecoming Parade again this year, although plans are being made to have one in 2016. Here's the reason why.
