It all comes down to this! Thursday is the last game of the 2017-18 Regular Season and it pits MDI against Ellsworth at Bernard Parady Gymnasium and thanks to Mother Nature it will be a doubleheader with the Girls playing at 5:30 followed by Senior Recognitions and then the Boys playing at 7:15ish.

The doors to the Gym will open at 4:30PM and fans are encouraged to arrive early, as the gym is sure to be filled to capacity!

The MDI Girls enter the night with a 13-4 record and are in 3rd place in the Heal Point Standings. A win and they will remain in 3rd place. If they lose and MCI beats Winslow the Trojans would fall to 4th place. Ellsworth is in 9th place and a win keeps them in 9th place. A loss to MDI and a Oceanside win over Medomak Valley and the Eagles will fall to 10th place. If both Ellsworth and Oceanside lose the Eagles stay in 9th place. The Trojans have a guaranteed bye, the Eagles will play a prelim game on the road on February 13th. That game will be broadcast on AM 1370

The MDI Boys enter the night with a 14-3 record and are in 2nd place in the Heal Point Standings. Whether the Trojans win or lose, they will finish 2nd. Ellsworth enters the night with a 11-6 record. If the Eagles win, they have a chance of finishing 5th and earning the last automatic bye and would avoid a prelim game. Ellsworth can finish no higher than 5th and can finish no lower than 6th. If they finish 6th they would host a prelim game at Katsiaficas Gymnasium on Wedneday, February 14th. That game would be broadcast on AM 1370
