Who Wins MDI or Ellsworth? [POLL]

Tuesday May 29th is the final game of the regular season for the MDI and Ellsworth Baseball and Softball Teams, and MDI will play at Ellsworth. It will be Senior Recognition Day, and the Baseball and Softball Games will begin at 4PM. There's so much at stake!

We will broadcast the Baseball Game on Am 1370, on WDEA Internet Radio, on our free downloadable APP and on any Alexa enabled device starting at 3:50 PM. Ellsworth comes in with a 14-1 record. Their lone loss came at the hands of the MDI Trojans back on April 24th, when the Trojans came from behind to win 5-4. Regardless of whether Ellsworth wins or loses, they will finish atop the Class B North Heal Point Standings and will have a bye and not have to play a prelim game. MDI comes into the game with a 11-4 record. They are currently 2nd in the Heal Point Standings. If they beat Ellsworth they will remain as the 2nd seed and have a bye and not have to play a prelim game. If they lose, they can finish 2nd or 3rd, depending if Brewer defeats Nokomis.

MDI Softball is 9-6 and is in 12th place in the Class B North Heal Points. They are assured of a prelim game. Ellsworth is 5-10 and in 14th place, the final playoff spot. If MDI wins, they could finish as high as 11th place. Ellsworth needs to win to insure they have a prelim game. A loss and they will likely miss the playoffs.
