Whitney Shines in Maine-New Hampshire All-Star Game

The Maine Senior All-Stars swept the New Hampshire Senior All-Stars in the a doubleheader on Tuesday, June 29th and Ellsworth Eagle Kate Whitney pitched well in her 4 innings.  The Maine team won 7-4 and 6-1.

Whitney was 1 of 4 Maine pitchers and in her 4 innings struck out 6 and walked 2. She allowed 2 hits and 2 unearned runs.

Whitney, who graduated from Ellsworth High School on June 10th, is going to attend St. Joseph’s College in Standish, in September and study Exercise Science and play for the Softball Team.
