WDEA's Chris Popper sat down with Whitey Griffin, the MDI High School Food Service Director. Whitey is retiring after 25 years on June 20th, having served over 400 meals per day for 25 years! Popper sat down with Griffin and talked about the changes in food service over the 25 years, how the menus are designed, what are the favorite foods of the students and more. Plus find out what Whitey plans on doing in his retirement and what food he makes at home!
