A new survey conducted by the Pew Research group says that Americans would rather give up their cell phones and TV before they'd give up the internet.

46% of the respondents to the survey said that the internet would be the "hardest technology for them to forgo."  Cell phones would be the second hardest electronic device to give up, followed by television.

The Pew Research site says that 87% of Americans now use the internet, up from just 14% back in 1995. Use of the internet has changed the way people do their jobs, get their news and interact with friends and family.
