It had to be the strangest division clinching night ever! The Boston Red Sox gave up five runs in the 9th inning, including a walk-off grand slam to Mark Texeira, and lost to the Yankees 5-3. But, minutes earlier, the Baltimore Orioles had beaten Toronto 3-2 clinching the AL East for the Sox.

Wow!

A weird scene at Yankee Stadium where the Yanks were celebrating on the field for the game win. The Red Sox went into the clubhouse and celebrated the title.

Sox manager John Farrell told the team not to let one inning ruin a great regular season and then the party started...
