I saw this post on the Ellsworth Police Department's Facebook Page this afternoon, and thought it was worth repeating!

"This morning Officer Gil Jameson noticed a medical call near where he happened to be. He responded and a 60 year old man went into cardiac arrest before the ambulance arrived. Officer Jameson initiated CPR and the County Ambulance crew continued, the staff at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital Emergency Room Department continued care and Lifeflight of Maine whisked him to Eastern Maine Medical Center. He is alive and stable. Job well done by all involved. We may be a small city but what great resources and teamwork we have."

Congratulations to all who assisted in the saving of this man's life!
