Ways to Stay Cool

Most of Maine is going to be in the 90's today, the 2nd day in a row, and tomorrow looks to be as brutal! So what are you going to do to stay cool? Well you could spend the day in air-conditioning, but unfortunately it's not very practical for most of us!

How about a day trip? Head to the beach! You can go to Wild Acadia Fun Park in Trenton. What about the movies this afternoon or tonight? There are some great movies playing, including Despicable Me 2!Plan to go grocery shopping, maybe the mall, or how about the library?

Remember these tips

• Stay out of the sun at it's hottest
• Dress Simply
• Wear Footwear that Breathes
• Stay Hydrated
• Eat to Stay Cool (Avoid junk food, eat fruit and salad)
• Use Fans
• Turn the Sprinkler On!

And most of all, remember, in the heat everyone's tempers get shorter! Have a popsicle and breathe!
