This past weekend, sailors and marines from the USS Tortuga were in Rockland for the Maine Lobster Festival, and on Sunday morning folks in town saw something that they weren't expecting!
Watch this video provided by the Rockland Police Department of U.S. Marines jogging up Main Street! It's definitely something that you don't see everyday in our neck of the woods, and it was quite impressive to say the least!
A BIG THANK YOU to all the sailors and marines stationed on board the USS Tortuga for protecting us and our freedom!
After cheering on the kids in this morning's fun run, the United States Marine Corps Devil Dogs from the USS Tortuga - LSD 46 got in a little PT of their own. We were thrilled to see the community interaction with our Marines and Sailors from this ship, and wish them well in their future missions protecting our nation. #mainelobsterfestival #usmc #usnavy
