Warren Retires
After 39 years, Warren Young left the Bar Harbor Post Office on Friday, May 27th for the last time.
Young walked out of the Bar Harbor Post Office with his son Gus, who has worked with his father for the last 15 years, and was met by members of his family.
Young appeared annually in the 4th of July Parade driving a mail truck. Tributes to his Facebook page were numerous as customers whom he had served for decades paid tribute!
When I asked him if he had any plans, he just stated he was going to enjoy retirement and had no plans!
After 39 years... I say he earned it! 04609 out!
