Don't look now but the Boston Red Sox have won four of their last five games. Last night, a 2-1 win in Seattle with the winning run coming in the ninth inning.

The Sox got a good 6.1 innings of pitching for starter Joe Kelly. They got some great defensive plays for Shane Victorino, Dustin Pedroia and others. And in the ninth inning of a 1-1 game the Sox got some timely hits.

Brock Holt doubled, got sacrificed to third and scored on an error to grab the 2-1 lead. Koji Uehara closed out the game.

Hanley Rammirez had four hits. Shane Victorino hit a home run.

The Sox are 17-18 and play the second game in the four game series in Seattle tonight. The pregame starts at 9:25 PM with the first pitch at 10:10 PM on AM 1370 WDEA.
