As of 3:15 PM on Day 3 of the Power Outage from the October 30th Windstorm, there are still 39,052 Emera Maine customers without power. But, Emera must be feeling confident, as they have updated their estimated power restoration times.

This is what they posted at 2:15 on Wednesday, November 1st

By the end of today we expect to have made the following progress:

  • Southern Penobscot (Greater Bangor, Orono/Old Town)
    2/3 of customers out this morning will be restored by the end of the day
  • Hancock County
    1/2 of customers out this morning will be restored by the end of the day
  • Northern Penobscot (Milo, Lincoln, Millinocket) & Piscataquis (Dover/Sebec)
    1/3 of customers out this morning will be restored by the end of the day

Washington & Aroostook County has been almost entirely restored.

We expect to restore 90% of customers impacted by 10 PM Thursday, with almost all remaining customers restored by end of day Friday.

Southern Penobscot (Greater Bangor, Orono/Old Town) & Hancock County
We expect to restore 90% of customers impacted by 10 PM Friday, with almost all remaining customers restored by end of day Saturday.
