UMPI Triples Up EMCC 66-22

The Eastern Maine Community College Women's Basketball Team went stone cold on Monday night, November 24th, and the University of Maine Presque Isle Owls beat EMCC 66-22.

Ellsworth Eagle alum Morgan Card lead the Golden Eagles in scoring with 8 points. She had 9 rebounds and 1 block. The Golden Eagles were 7-45 for field goals (15.6%) and 2-13 (15.4%) from behind the 3 point arc.

UMPI shot 30-69 from the field for 43.5%. UMPI was led by Darby Toth and Brianna Losee, each of who had 14 points.

EMCC is now 4-3 and next plays on Sunday November 30th at home against Southern Maine Community College. UMPI is now 1-2 and next plays at home on Wednesday December 3rd against the University of Maine Fort Kent.
