After picking up a couple of impressive wins over the weekend the Boston Red Sox went to Minnesota and reverted to their old play in a 7-2 loss to the Twins.Joe Kelly seemingly turned the corner in his previous two starts but in this game couldn't get out of the second inning. Kelly allowed 7 runs on 8 hits and a walk on his way to a 4th loss this season.

Boston's offense could not get anything going against Twins starter Ricky Nolasko who held the Sox to just 7 hits over 7.2 innings while striking out 5.

Clay Buchholz will get the start Tuesday in game 2 of the series. The pregame starts at 7:35 PM with the first pitch at 8:10 on AM 1370 WDEA
