Trojans Honor Gray and Philio

The MDI Coaches and Staff wore Green and Gray ribbons at the Cross Insurance Center on Saturday, February 13th.

When I asked Matt Umphrey what was the significance of the ribbons, he explained that the staff had worn them to honor two individuals, David Gray, and David Philio. Philio is Umphrey's father-in-law, as was as the father of Rachel Umphrey who teaches at MDI High School. Both individuals are fighting cancer.

I certainly send out my prayers and best wishes to David Gray and David Philio. Cancer is a terrible disease, and I wish them both strength in their battle!
