Thursday, September 1st means back to school in Trenton, and that means the Trenton Volunteer Fire Department will be cooking pancakes for students, staff and parents!

According to Chief Steve Corson, this tradition has been going on for over a decade. At first they used to bring up the grills they use for the monthly Pancake Breakfasts and cooked in the parking lot, but now they use the grills in the school kitchen. Five or six volunteers cook, and the kitchen staff does the rest. There is no charge for the breakfast.
