Tremont Ice Fishing Derby Postponed

Another ice fishing derby has been postponed thanks to this crazy winter weather. The last couple of days, we have had temperatures in the high 30's and even touched 40, and the ice on Maine's lakes hasn't set.

After talking with officials from the Maine Warden Service, the Tremont PTO made the decision to postpone the annual ice fishing derby, scheduled for this weekend. As a result, the Tremont Consolidated School's 11 Annual Fishing Derby will now take place on Sunday February 28th. Please adjust your calendars!
