Voters in Tremont went to the polls on Tuesday, November 7th with 2 big issues on the ballot, "Whether to ban commercial marijuana businesses" and "Whether to impose a 180 day moratorium on cruise ship activities."

By a margin of 7 votes, 225-218, voters banned retail marijuana stores, cultivation facilities, facilities that manufacture marijuana products, testing facilities and social clubs. Persons or organizations are also prohibited from developing or operating "a business that engages in retail or wholesale sales of a retail marijuana product".

The Cruise Ship Moratorium passed by a large margin 356-87.

457 voters cast their ballots out of the 1191 registered voters
