Tourney Time 2016

It's been a long time since the MDI Boy's and Girl's and the Ellsworth Boy's and Girl's Basketball Teams have all made it to the Tourney in Bangor, but that's what has happened this year! WDEA AM 1370 and WDEA Internet Radio will broadcast all the MDI and Ellsworth games. Here's the schedule for this weekend

Friday February 12th
The #2 seed MDI Girls with a 17-1 record take on the #7 seed Hermon Hawks with a 11-8 record  at 6:30 PM. Hermon defeated Washington Academy 54-32 on Tuesday night in a prelim game. MDI defeated Hermon twice this year, 41-38 on December 11th and 49-30 on January 30th.

Saturday February 13th
The #2 Ellsworth Boys with a 14-4 record will play at the Cross Insurance Center of Saturday February 13th at 9:05 AM. They will play the #10 seeded MCI Huskies who upset #7 Winslow on Wednesday night in the prelim game. MCI has a 8-11 record.

With the Ellsworth Girl’s 57-44 Victory over Mattanawcook on Tuesday night, the 12-7 Ellsworth Girl’s Team will take on the #4 Winslow Black Raiders with a 15-3 mark at 10:35 AM

The MDI Boys, the #5 seed will play Orono the #4 seed on at 1:35 PM. MDI has a 15-4 record while Orono is 14-4. MDI defeated Hermon 60-38 in the prelim game on Wednesday.  Orono defeated MDI 62-52 in their only meeting of the season.
