Dodgers rookie Ross Stripling and three relievers shut down Red Sox bats in a 3-0 LA win Saturday evening. The Sox could manage just five hits.

Meanwhile, Sox pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez seemed to be in trouble all day - 4.1 innings, eight hits, a walk and giving up three runs. He takes the loss.

Mookie Betts was the only guy to get multiple hits.

Both the O's and Blue Jays lost so no ground lost in the battle for first place in the AL East. The Sox are still two games behind both teams.

The final game of this long, 11-game roadtrip begins tonight at 7:10 PM with the first pitch at 6:25 on AM 1370 WDEA. The Sox are 5-5 on the trip.
