Pat's Pizza in Ellsworth was full Monday night, August 7th as hungry patrons came out to support the Tip-A-Cop Program with all tips being donated to the Maine Special Olympics.

Members of the Ellsworth Police Department, Hancock County Sheriff's Department, Bar Harbor Police Department and District Attorney Matt Foster joined Pat's Pizzas employees to serve a full restaurant. Pat's Pizza donated $1.00 for every small pizza and $2.00 for every large pizza to the cause. Kudos to the Pat's Pizza employees who gave up their tips so that way the Law Enforcement crew could donate the tips for the Special Olympics.

District Attorney Matt Foster served my wife and I and did a great job! Check out photos from the night!

The total to be donated as of the end of the night was $3570! Congratulations to all!  This was Bart Tokas' last time organizing the event as he is retiring from the Ellsworth Police Department in May 2018.
