Tim Neverett Leaving Red Sox Broadcast Job

Joe Castiglione will have a new partner for Red Sox broadcasts on WDEA AM 1370 and other stations on the Red Sox Radio Newtwork in the 2019 season, as Tim Neverett announced via Twitter on Tuesday, December 11th that he wouldn't be returning next season.

Boston Globe, Neverett was told by WEEI, the flagship radio station that he should look for another job for 2019 in June of 2018. Neverett had been in the booth with Joe Castiglione for years.

Neverett replaced Dave O'Brien when he joined NESN. O'Brien replaced Don Orsillo on TV.

WDEA begins its 56th year carrying Red Sox baseball in Hancock County in February with Spring Training games.
