Executive Director of The Grand, Gail LaRosa Thompson joined WDEA's Chris Popper, to talk about what's happening at The Grand on Main Street in Ellsworth.

This is the last weekend of Mary Poppins, and the matinee on Saturday has been moved from 2 PM to 1 PM. children are encourage to come in costume to the Halloween matinee, as they'll then be able to leave The Grand and join the Ellsworth Halloween Parade and go to Trunk and Treat at the Ellsworth City Hall! The Sunday matinee is sold out, so as of Tuesday, the only performances still available with tickets are Friday night at 7:30 and Saturday at 1.

Then it's Fill Every Seat on November 6th! The doors to the Grand will be open starting on Tuesday the 3rd, between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.  Simply walk in anytime between Tuesday and Friday night at 6 and drop off your donation! Make sure that you look inside the auditorium to watch the seats fill up with generosity!

Loaves and Fishes is looking especially for holiday cupboard items such as cans of pumpkin or cranberry sauce, stuffing mixes, canned hams, and soups, in addition to the usual items. No outdated food will be accepted.
