If you are a fan of Ellsworth or MDI Swim Teams or swimming in general, you'll want to know about this! Maine Swimming is attempting to bring the movie "The Last Gold" to Bangor Cinemas on Thursday July 28th at 5:30 PM. It's also an opportunity to congratulate Emma Waddell, a Bangor native who qualified and swam at the Olympic trials.

"The Last Gold" reveals one of the great untold stories in Olympic history as it details the heroic efforts of the 1976 Women's Olympic Swim Team as they compete against the systematically doped East Germans in a race to win the last gold.

In order for the screening to take place, 75 tickets must be reserved before July 19th at 5:30 PM. To order your tickets click HERE
