The Island’s Newest Finest

It was a good day for the Island's Police Departments as the Town of Southwest Harbor and Town of Bar Harbor welcomed their newest members, after graduating from the Maine Criminal Justice Academy in Vassalboro on Friday, May 19th.

Chief Alan Brown of Southwest Harbor and Bar Harbor/Mount Desert Chief Jim Willis were on hand along with other command staff, officers, friends and family as Levi Soper (Southwest Harbor) and Brady Smith (Bar Harbor) graduated. Soper and Smith will begin working for the Towns of Southwest Harbor and Bar Harbor respectively.
