‘The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug’ Trailer [VIDEO]

Jim and I hadn't been watching the movie 'The Hobbit' for more than a half hour when he realized there was no way they would cover the whole book in that one movie. Still, we loved it! And now, we're very excited that the next chapter is near!

'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug' will focus, obviously, on Smaug, who is one of the last remaining dragons of Middle Earth. His fiery breath and immense size work to his advantage, but it's his cunning that has kept him alive while others have perished.

Now, I'll admit that I'm not always a big fan of movies in the fantasy genre. But Jim absolutely loves them and he's started converting me, especially with the Hobbit trilogy.  I read the book when I was young, and so parts of the story are still familiar to me. And I love Bilbo! But try as he might, he'll never convince me to enjoy sitting through his favorite movie "The Dark Crystal!"
