The Boston Red Sox are the 2018 American League Champions, defeating Houston 4-1 Thursday, October 18th to win the ALCS Series 4-1. The Red Sox return to the World Series for the 1st time since 2013 and will play either the Los Angeles Dodgers or Milwaukee Brewers in Game 1 on Tuesday, October 23rd at Fenway Park.

David Price finally won the "big game" for the Red Sox, pitching on 3 days rest, and despite warming up in the bullpen on Tuesday night in Game 4. He threw 6 shutout innings allowing just 3 hits. He didn't walk a batter and struck out 9.

Rafael Devers clubbed a 3 run homer in the 6th inning off Justin Verlander, to give the Red Sox a cushion after JD Martinez hit a solo shot in the 3rd inning

Ian Kinsler and Mitch Moreland were each 2-4 with a double.

And it wouldn't be a Red Sox game without another fantastic Mookie Betts catch!
