You have to feel badly for the runner on 2nd base, but mad props to the Rye Colorado Thunderbolts who pulled off the best hidden ball trick I've ever seen in the 2A State semifinal game.

The pitcher wheels around as if to pick off the runner on 2nd. He appears to overthrow 2nd, as the outfielders give frantic chase for the ball. The unsuspecting runner at 2nd takes off for 3rd base, only to be tagged out by the pitcher, who had the ball all the time!

How good was the play? It was voted ESPN's Top 10 Play of the Day for May 23rd

Rye ended up winning the game, as well as the State finals!
