Veteran's Day

Ellsworth High School and the students from the National Honor Society are inviting local veteran's to a Veteran's Day Program on Thursday, November 9th. The program will begin at 9 a.m. and there will be a light breakfast served prior to the program.

The Ellsworth Elks Club located at 317 High Street in Ellsworth is offering free meals (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner!) for Veterans, Thursday November 11th, Veteran's Day. Mark Your Calendars!

There aren't any Veteran's Day parades in our area today because of COVID-19 but that didn't stop the Lamoine Consolidated School yesterday! Check out their great video. Well done Lamoine Lions and we join you in saluting the area's veterans!

Did you know that there is a difference between Memorial Day and Veteran's Day, besides the fact that Memorial Day is celebrated on the last Monday of May and Veteran's Day is celebrated on November 11th?

If you have ever watched the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon you probably have seen the Whisper Challenge.
