Windjammer Parade of Sail [PHOTOS/VIDEO]
Tuesday afternoon, August 2nd, Sargent Drive in Northeast Harbor was so full of cars that the Mount Desert Police Department turned traffic away. Everyone was there to watch the Parade of Sail as The Maine Windjammer Association’s fleet sailed  through Somes Sound.

ANP Trails Opened and Closed
On Friday, July 29th the National Park Service announced that they had reopened the Precipice, Valley Cove and Jordan Cliffs and associated trails as of today. These trails had been closed on March 17th to protect the peregrine falcons from disturbance during the nesting period.
