Five Peregrine Falcon Chicks Fly 1 Nest Fails
According to the blog, Acadia National Park on My Mind, five peregrine falcon chicks have fledged at nests at two sites in Acadia National Park this year, but for unknown reasons a nest failed at a third site that has yielded chicks in recent years.

More Carriage Roads to Be Resurfaced
Earlier in June, the National Park Service planned on resurfacing 13 miles of the 45 mile Carriage Road System in Acadia National Park.Because that work has been completed ahead of schedule, they are planning on resurfacing an additional 8 miles this season.
