Thank God for the Southwest Harbor Fire Department! While we were all home nestled in our beds, snug under quilts and the electric blankets, they were out in the middle of the night, IN THE FREEZING WATER, to rescue a dog that had been stranded on an ice flow 350 feet away from shore!
