SWH Fire Dept. Open House

When I was little, my grandparents lived in Framingham Center, and their house and property abutted the Framingham Fire Department. Every time we visited my grandparents, we also visited the firemen! I remember they were always so nice to us, letting us try on the turnout gear, climb on the firetrucks and even slide down the pole!

Saturday, October 14th, the Southwest Harbor Fire Department invites you to a open house from 10 AM to 2 PM. There will be demonstrations including lifeflight, which will be landing at 10 AM,  refreshments, and you’ll be able to check out the firemen in their turnout gear and the firetrucks!
