The crews from R.F. Jordan and Sons Construction company will resume their work tomorrow, Tuesday, September 2nd, after the summer moratorium on the Southwest Harbor Infrastructure Project.

Plans for this week include beginning work on Main Street, between Herrick Road and Seal Cove Road, and

  • Testing pits for existing utilities.
  • Drilling and blasting the ledge that will interfere with the installation of the new utility and storm drain lines
  • Installing a new water main from just south of the Circle K gas station to the intersection with Herrick Road.

Please be mindful of the flaggers and follow their instructions, as they try to keep traffic delays to as short as possible.

R.F. Jordan and Sons Construction thanks you for your understanding and patience as they look to complete the underground utility work for this project this year.
