Ellsworth Police say a suspect in a bank robbery from four years ago has been arrested.

The investigation into the Feb. 3, 2014 robbery of the Key Bank on High Street in Ellsworth had taken many hours of Lieutenant Harold Page's time. But the dedication paid off this week when he secured a Grand Jury indictment and a warrant for the arrest of 29-year-old Matthew Lemery. He's now charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and robbery.

Lemery was living in Alfred at the time of the robbery and was employed by an insulation company out of Hermon. At the time of his arrest, he was living in Kennebunk, which is where police took him into custody and transported him to the York County Jail.
