Sumner’s Hanna Selected to C/D Softball Underclassmen Game

Congratulations to Sumner Memorial High School's Lauren Hanna who was selected to play in the Maine Softball Coaches Association's Underclassmen Game at Colby College that was scheduled to be played on Thursday, June 28th.

Unfortunately, the Showcase has been cancelled because of the impending rain, but it doesn't take away from the honor!

Hanna, who will be a Senior had 65 at bats and scored 24 runs this years, with 33 hits. Of the 33 hits, she had 3 doubles, and 2 triples. She ended up with a.507 batting average. On the mound she struck out 111 in 17 games.
