Sumner Boys Soccer Beats Patriots 4-0

For the 1st time in over 5 years, the Sumner Memorial Boys Soccer Team defeated the Bangor Christian Patriots 4-0 in Bangor, on Friday September 7th.

Damon Warren scored a natural hat trick (3 goals in the same half) and Orlando Herrera scored the Tiger's last goal converting a penalty kick in the 2nd Half. Silas Goldfarb, Eduardo Figueroa and Caelan Billings notched assists for the Tigers.

Alex Rumill had 9 saves on nine shots for Sumner while Nicholas Collins had 9 saves on 12 shots for Bangor Christian.

Sumner, 2-0 will play at Deer Isle-Stonington on Monday, September 10th at 4 PM.

Bangor Christian, 1-2 hosts Central Monday, September 10th at 4PM
