Sumner Boys Beat Machias Improve to 8-0 on Tuesday

Tuesday afternoon, September 25th, the Sumner Tigers Boys Soccer Team continued their perfect season, defeating Machias 7-2 to go to 8-0 on the season.

Damon Warren had 3 goals and an assist. Warren has had at least a hat trick (3 goals) in all of Sumner's games.

Eduardo Figueroa had a goal and 2 assists, Orlando Herrera had a goal and an assist. Caelan Billings, and Silas Goldfarb each had a goal. Dylan Bernier, Zach Coughlin and Austin Britton each had an assist.

Sumner's goalkeepers Joe Patterson and Alex Rumill combined for 9 saves on 11 shots. Machias' 'keeper Tyler Look had 22 saves on 29 shots.

Sumner, 8-0 will play host to Lee Academy on Thursday, September 27th at 4PM.

Machias, 0-7-1 will play host to Narraguagus on Friday, September 28th at 4PM.
