Sugar Mags Opens in Ellsworth [PHOTOS]

A new retro candy shop has opened in Ellsworth, next to The Grand on 169 Main Street in Ellsworth. Sugar Mags, a family owned business by Sarah, Jesse and 3 year old Marguerite "Mags" Bowden. The store opened on Saturday, October 28th and handed out over 1100 pieces of candy to trick or treaters in Ellsworth on Halloween!

They offer Candy by the Pound with Mary Janes, Candy Blox, Runts, Gummy Army Men, Sour Patch Kids and Gumballs and more! They also offer specialty candy like Cowtails, Fun Dip, PopRocks, Razzles, Pez, Gummy Bears and More!

They are the area's exclusive distributor of retro sodas like Dad's Old Fashioned Root Beer, Shirley Temple Soda, Bubble Up, Double Cola, Maple Root Beer, O-So Grape, Frostie Blue Cream, Dang! Butterscotch Root Beer, Kickapoo Sangria and Maliblu, Cold Mountain Strawberry, Green Apple, Orange and Peach, Cock 'N Bull Ginger, Cheerwine (Regular and Diet), Ale 8-One, Lemmy Lemondade, Blumer's Black Cherry, Orange Cream, Blueberry Cream, Old Fashioned Cream and Sasparilla. What's so neat is you can mix a 4 pack or mix a 6 pack!

They're currently open Tuesday-Thursday from 11 AM to 5:30 PM and Friday and Saturday from 11 AM to 6 PM.
