The first day of Spring is two weeks from today! The chances of seeing any flowers outside in Maine, at least up in the Bangor, Downeast Maine area are slim and none. Of course there are the daffodils growing in the snow mountain at MDI High School, but they're a hearty lot!

So what are you going to do if you're craving Spring? You just have to bring Spring to you! Such is the case in Southwest Harbor, where students and teachers "grew" a whole garden of beautiful flowers on the snow! It reminds me of the time we were buried in snow on St. Patrick's Day, and I turned a bunch of it green, and told my children that we had received green snow thanks to the leprechauns!

If you're going to "grow" some snow flowers, please send me a picture at chris.popper@townsquaremedia.com and with your permission, we will post them here!
