It was a 9th inning to remember for the Boston Red Sox. An 8-7 comeback win in Texas Friday night, scoring three runs in the top of the inning and Koji striking out three to end the game.

Trailing 7-4, Sandy Leon doubled in one run. Mookie Betts blasted a 2-run homer. Dustin Pedroia scored the go-ahead run on a wild pitch.

Koji Uehara came on to strike out the side in the bottom of the 9th to nail down the win.

All of this masks one of worst starts for David Price. He had nothing for the Rangers, lasting just 2.1 innings and gave up 12 hits and six runs.

At 41-32, the Sox stay 1.5 games behind Baltimore for the AL East lead. The Red Sox and Texas Rangers will play the middle game of their 3 game series Saturday night with the pregame starting at 8:35 PM on AM 1370 WDEA. The Red Sox will send knuckleballer Steven Wright with his 8-4, 2.01 ERA to the mound.
